We couldn't find a high quality, universal brake caliper anchor rod for custom motorcycles, so we decided to make one. If running a disc brake on the rear of a rigid, hardtail motorcycle is what you're looking for, then this is just what you need. This is perfect for that hardtail Harley Sportster, Shovelhead or other custom motorcycle project. This pairs well with our 1/4" Thick Brake Stay Tab if your frame doesn't already have one.

This entire product, including the heim joints and all hardware, is proudly Made in the USA.

Center-to-center on the heim joints is 4", and each heim joint offers 3/4" adjustability, making this brake stay rod 4" to 5.5" long. The heim joints are 3/8" inside diameter.

One end affixes to the caliper bracket and the other end to the motorcycle frame or front end (as this could be used for a front brake caliper anchor as well in custom applications). The body is 5/8" diameter steel, milled in the center so the included jam nuts can easily be tightened while holding the body with a 1/2" wrench.
