Fuel injected Sportsters are no longer 'new bikes', with the first one appearing in 2007. Now, 07-up Sportsters with low miles, and in great shape, can be found for similar prices (or sometimes less than) as the carbureted versions. One of the big hurdles in building a chopper out of an EFI (electronic fuel injected) Sportster is dealing with the intense wiring harness, and knowing how to delete out all of the unneeded things, while keeping the bike in running condition!

Well, that problem has been solved! At least for 2007-2013 Sportsters at the moment. This is a complete plug-and-play chopper wiring harness for 2007-2013 Harley-Davidson Sportsters. Hooking up the harness is fairly straight forward. Most of the plugs are different and can only be plugged in to the stock components on your motorcycle one way. There are a few plugs that are the same but use different colors. You should have a factory service manual handy to make sure you plug the correct plug in the right port.
