Single Cable Throttle - 7/8 inch - Amal Style
This is a nice quality, all metal throttle for 7/8" handlebars. It is a copy of the old single cable Amal style throttle, and has a throttle stop screw (think cruise control). Includes throttle tube, which is metal as well, this is nice as most new throttles have a plastic tube, but with a metal one there isn't a chance of the cable breaking the plastic sleeve at the slot where it engages. This is for a single cable setup, if you have dual carbs you can always use a cable splitter for smooth, clean operation (splitter sold separately). This throttle should work fine on most vintage British bikes with Amal carburetors , if you are planning on using it on any other makes you should be prepared to have a custom cable made in order to be able to use this throttle. Replaces Triumph OEM# 99-0248.
